Nestled at the heart of South Mumbai, Genèse Clinic emerged from the shared vision of Dr. Ankita Sheth and Dr. Harsh Sheth. Together, they created a space for comprehensive care, focusing on skin and aesthetics as well as bariatric (obesity) and gastrointestinal solutions.
Our Story
At Genèse Clinic, the essence of our name—meaning "beginning" in French—inspires everything we do. With every consultation, we aim to offer our patients a fresh start for their health and well-being. It started with a simple but powerful idea: to offer care that genuinely understands and meets our patient's health and wellness needs, both inside and out. Founded by a dedicated dermatologist and a forward-thinking gastrointestinal surgeon, our clinic combines evidence based medical treatments with a warm, patient-focused approach. We believe in getting to know each person who walks through our doors, crafting care plans that address their concerns and support their overall well-being.

Dr. Ankita Sheth
Dr. Ankita Sheth is a skilled dermatologist known for her effective communication and care. She has over ten years of experience focusing on skin, hair, and nail health. Dr. Sheth is adept in dermatology surgery and uses advanced treatments like lasers, radiofrequency, HIFU, Botox, fillers, and PRP for skin and hair rejuvenation. She is a go-to dermatologist for various skin and hair conditions, with expertise in treating PCOS-related manifestations.
Dr. Harsh Sheth
Dr. Harsh Sheth specialises in laparoscopic and robotic surgery, focusing on bariatric surgery, hernia repairs, and GI cancer treatments. He practices with a core belief, “primum non nocere”- first, do no harm- and brings innovation and thorough knowledge to his work. His medical education includes an M.B.B.S. from Terna Medical College, an M.S. in General Surgery from Seth G.S Medical College, and advanced fellowships at Stanford University and AIIMS, New Delhi. Dr. Sheth is known for his commitment to safe, effective, and minimally invasive gastrointestinal and weight loss surgery approaches.
